Rupert is a new foster at our home – he is a truly wonderful guy. Rupert (formerly Rufus – anything is an impr0vement) supposedly was having between 10-15 seizures per month. In addition, he had lost his house training and nothing they were doing could improve his situation. As soon as Dr. Cronin looked at the vet reports, he immediately thought that Rupert needed a larger (not large) daily dose of pheno – he’s been in Dwight for 2 weeks – NOT A SEIZURE!! And he is a perfect 63 lb., 2 year old Basset boy. So far, he’s becoming the perfect dog.

Rupert is a beautiful basset. My lab Lenny takes pheno to control seizures. As explained by my vet, the key is getting the correct levels and giving the meds consistently.
Rupert, you are so handsome. It won’t be long before you find your fur-ever home.
